Aya Education Fund is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the students of Kengereka Primary School in Boma Ng'ombe, Tanzania. We do this by providing financial assistance for school fees and supplies, funding infrastructure improvements and hygiene projects, and delivering daily meals to every student.

The town of Boma Ng'ombe (pop'n 11,313; 2012 census) is located in the Hai District in northern Tanzania, close to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park. Much of the population rely on traditional agriculture for work and sustenance, and average household income is very low. Children are pulled out of school to help farm and provide for their families. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden of school fees so that the children can receive a proper education and break the cycle of poverty.

Edmund was the first student that we helped support with school fees. We are proud to say that he has just graduated from electronics college. He plans to open a business and then return to school to become an engineer. We are so proud of his hard work and dedication.  Below is the photo from 2013, and then in 2022 when he graduated from College.
